Children’s Literature and Poetry

Leigh Therriault writes children’s literature including picture books and middle-grade novels. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Creative Writing Program and UC San Diego Extension’s Children’s Book Writing Program. She is a member of SCBWI, the Canadian Authors Association, the Canadian Children’s Book Centre, and CANSCAIP.

Leigh’s poems and short stories for young readers are published in children’s magazines including The Caterpillar, The Dirigible Balloon, The Toy, Paddler Press, Cricket, and Spaceports & Spidersilk. Her poetry for adults has appeared in Hearth & Coffin, Haikuniverse, DarkWinter Literary Magazine, Consilience Journal, and Polar Starlight.
