Children’s Literature and Poetry
Leigh Therriault writes picture books, middle-grade novels, and young adult fiction. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Creative Writing Program and UC San Diego Extension’s Children’s Book Writing Program. She is a member of SCBWI, the Canadian Authors Association, the Canadian Children’s Book Centre, and CANSCAIP.
Leigh’s short stories and poems for young readers are published in children’s magazines including The Caterpillar, The Dirigible Balloon, The Toy, Paddler Press, Cricket, Spaceports & Spidersilk, and Voyage YA. Her poetry for adults has appeared in Hearth & Coffin, Haikuniverse, DarkWinter Literary Magazine, Consilience, and Polar Starlight.
She has two Bengal cats who (begrudgingly) oversee her author adventures.
